Alongside the development of circular economy and sustainable food supply chains (FSCs), research on loss waste (FLW) reduction prevention has drawn much attention from academia, practitioners, governments. The significance FLW been highlighted in literature due to its impact society, economy, environment. We propose a conceptual framework systematically examine issues within FSCs field operations management (OM). discuss various types distribution modes where occurs, definitions FLW, impacts measures reduce OM field. further introduce methodologies that have applied existing studies. contribution this paper is threefold.
